How is different to WordPress?

WordPress stores content like blog articles in databases. This means every time a user visits your site, it has to make a query to the database to populate the page.

Static sites generate ‘flat’ HTML pages, meaning the server doesn’t need to make database requests to serve the page. This produces significantly faster websites. is like WordPress in that it allows you to easily manage website content without editing code, but it supports static site content.
